Fall Campout at Woods Canyon Lake
Pack 329 headed to Woods Canyon Lake, Arizona, for our fall scout campout. It was a fun chance to spend time outdoors, learn together, and enjoy the lake and surrounding trails.

SHOUT OUT!
We would like to give a special shout out to Isla from the Bear den for being a trooper when put into a scary situation with bees! š
Also to the Wolf den in general for doing dishes on their own without being asked! Taking the initiative to get things done shows strong integrity and leadership skills. Keep up the great work.
Learning the camping fundamentals
Our scouts spent time learning the fundamentals of camping and putting their outdoor skills into practice. Every campout is a chance to build confidence, work together, and grow more comfortable in the outdoors.
Fishing and hiking
We also made time for fishing and hiking. Exploring the area around Woods Canyon Lake gave everyone a chance to slow down, enjoy the scenery, and share the experience with fellow scouts.
Honoring the flag at every event
At every event, our pack raises and lowers the American flag. Raising it helps us begin together, and lowering it gives us a thoughtful way to close. These moments invite scouts to pause, reflect, and recognize the people and ideals the flag represents.
By taking part, scouts learn to stand attentively, follow the ceremony leadersā directions, and handle the flag with care. They practice teamwork and responsibility while learning how to show proper respect for the flag.
